About us

Ambika Seth Khanna and her husband Rahul Khanna have been hospitality and lifestyle entrepreneurs for over 15 years and have been working on design projects with their team of architects, graphic & interior designers to bring their vision to line in India along with their experiences in setting up design projects in London, Hong Kong and Vietnam.

Brands such as CAARA, Mamagoto, Sly Granny, CAARA at Ogaan, numerous residences and Pop Ups such as the Indian Art Fair are some successful results blending their multi disciplinary talents of art, graphic & interior design and gastronomy.

Slang Design Studio was a natural profession for them to bring these two interests under one umbrella that projects their design philosophy forward.

Habitual travellers and architecture & Design geeks, Ambika and Rahul are both graduates of Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland. Rahul is also the author of the book titled, ‘The Modern Architecture of New Delhi’ published by Random House in 2008. They both live and work out of New Delhi with their son, Azaad and their dog, Xoya.
